Jiangsu Hongsheng Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. is a joint venture set up by China High Speed Transmission Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (Nanjing High-speed & Accurate Gear) and Jiangyin Hongsheng Special Steel Co., Ltd., and it is located in Yangtze River Delta Region. The corporate headquarter is at Chengjiang Industrial Park, Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province. The company has 2 steel plants, 2 forging factories, 1 heat treatment and machining plant, 1 international trading company, 1 overseas trading company, The company covers an area of 300, 000 square meters and has more than 1000 employees, among whom there are more than 150 people with medium and senior certificates forming a strong technical team of production, marketing and research.

Equipment owned by the Group: 1 50t EBT arc furnace, 2 30t arc furnaces, 3 20t arc furnaces, 1 60t LF, VD and VC, 2 30t LFs, VDs and VCs, 1 20t LF and VD, 1 15t imported VODC furnace, 2 15t electro-slag furnaces, 2 5t electro-slag furnaces, 1 1600t quick hydramatic press forging machine, 1 5t, 3t and 1t forging hammer, 8 sets bogie hearth type quenching furnaces and tempering furnaces, 1 5000t hydramatic press forging machine (put to use in 2009). Output capacity of special steel is 0.25 million tons per year, among which forged steel (pieces) is (are) 0.18 million tons yielding sales revenue more than 2.5 billion RMB.

Main products: Special steel ingots with high grade and high quality, ESR ingots and forged round steel including: Nitriding steel, wind power gears, rotor steel, roller steel, Hydrogenation pressure container steel, bearing steel, tool and die steel, nuclear power and power plant steel, ULC stainless steel etc.; Various forging steel and parts: Main shafts used in wind power and motor, rollers, oil mechanical drilling tools, tubes, modules and various deformed forging steel. The products are widely used in industries as wind power, chemical, machineries, automobiles, ships, power plants, petrochemical processing, and sell to the U. S., Germany, the U. K., France, Korea, India and Southeast Asia.
